Planning your installation
Work back from the room that needs the connection.
When planning an East Midlands installation, it helps to know both where the terminal could be mounted and where the router needs to sit. The shortest outdoor route may not put the router in the most useful room.
Send a wide view of the building and identify the preferred indoor entry point. If the route needs to cross a loft, extension or yard, mention it early. At rural or larger premises, explain whether a separate workshop or office also needs connectivity so the work can be scoped correctly.
