Starlink delivers internet through a satellite terminal outside your property. Choosing a sensible position and securing it correctly are just as important as connecting the equipment.
We consider nearby trees and buildings, suitable fixing surfaces, safe access and the route to your router. The best location is not automatically the highest point on the roof.
We will discuss the proposed position and cable entry with you before work begins. Any additional work or specialist access should be agreed before it is carried out.

What will your installation involve?

Tell us the building height, terminal model, likely mounting location and where you want the cable to enter. We will confirm the proposed work and any additional requirements.
Starlink hardware and the internet subscription are separate from installation unless your written quote explicitly includes them. Ask us to confirm the total payable, including VAT and any agreed extras.

Do I need to buy my Starlink kit first?
You can discuss installation before ordering, but the correct kit needs to be on site for the appointment. Tell us which terminal you have or plan to buy so the mounting arrangement can be checked.
Does the dish have to go on the roof?
No. The position depends on a clear sky view, suitable fixings and safe access. A wall or other suitable location may work better. A survey is needed to confirm what is practical at your property.
Will the router cover every room?
That depends on the layout, wall materials and router location. A good satellite connection does not guarantee Wi-Fi coverage throughout a large building. Mention any weak rooms or outbuildings when you enquire.
Can you guarantee a particular broadband speed?
No installer can guarantee a fixed Starlink speed. Your plan, network demand, obstructions and other conditions affect performance. We focus on a suitable installation and checking the connection.
